And didn't have a deadly allergic reaction to it within about 20 hours. Does that mean I should be able to take it again and be okay?

I'm just a little paranoid about it because nobody will be home for quite some time. And it's time for my next dosage about now.

  1. An allergic reaction rarely occurs the first time you are exposed to an allergen. Your body will be able to tolerate a certain amount of it. The more you are exposed to the trigger the clsoer you come to your threshhold. Once you pass it you will react. That being said, most reactions, even if truely allergic in nature are not life threatening. Those that are are even more rarely so quick to happen that you can't get help.

  2. Yeah, youre ok. If you were gonna have a reaction you would have by now.

  3. If you did not react the first time, you most likely will not react the second time.

If it makes you feel more secure, ask a neighbor to come over for a few minutes while you take the medication.

  4. unless its like a time-release thing, like a sleeping pill, (which would take hours for the different chemicals to take effect) an allergic reaction would happen within a few minutes, so i think your safe.
