If i am 120 pounds and 5,5" and beginner to intermediate what size short board am I?

That depends a lot on what kind/size board you are "beginner to intermediate" on now. depending on the break(s) you usually ride, at your size, you could easily ride a board in the 6' - 6'6" range, if, naturally, you are able to make that transition. If you are riding a 9'6", the switch will be do-able, but really tough. I suggest you go to a good local surf shop (not a bathing suit store that sells surfboards) and talk to the folks there. They will help you find something that suits your size, skill level and the local breaks.

    I also don't know how old you are. If you have so "growing" left to do, you may want to go a little bigger if you want to get more than one summer out of the board. But again, go to a surf shop, you will get the best advice from the local surfers who work there.


  2. Dario, too many variables to be able to answer acurately. go to your local surf shop. don't be embarressed. it is so important to get the right equipment to be able to enjoy surfing.
