If i am a board certified dental assistant, how do i become accredited by the American Dental Association?

In TN to be a dental asst. they have short programs but are not ADA accredited. If i decide to move or if the law changes in TN, how do I become accredited by the American Dental Association?

  1. The thing that really matters is taking the Dental Assisting National Board. It is recognized all over the nation, and once you pass it you're a certified dental assistant. Go to their website and it tells you the requisites of every state in the nation. www.danb.org

    EDIT: I assume you've already taken the DANB if you say you're board certified? If so, it shouldn't matter if you took an accredited course or not. Your CDA is what matters.
