If i am blacklisted will it affect other members of my family in the home?

I am in alot of debt due to credit cards, i am scared in case my husband finds out. he has a credit card of his own will it affect him if he uses it even though its me thats blacklisted

  1. who said houses/addresses cannot be blacklisted...well may be...

    but post code get affected

    let say you live in xx1 3ha and you got lot of CCJ...then all the people living within this post code will be affected as it will be considered a high risk post code

  4. No, unless you have other joint finances. In that case, your credit profiles will be linked.

    Either case, it should have minimal effect on his credit, unless the debt is in joint names.

As he already has a credit card then not with the use of the card.  When it comes to additional loans then yes it can.  I have been prevented from getting loans because of my father who had CCJs against him and I lived at the same address.  My father is now dead and I don't live with my mother, as a result I would have no problem getting a loan now.
