  1. both, and if you really need to ask this question , please mail me the name of the educational unit you attended or still attend. As you may be due compensation

  2. both, your country of birth is England, but as that is not a nation state (wrong way around EC above). The nation state is the UK, comprsing of 4 countries as one Nation.  your legal status is as a UK citizen

  3. Your Nationality is English.

England is part of the United Kingdom of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

A person may administratively be labelled a British citizen, but that is not their nationality.

  4. Both are correct. London is the Capital of England and also the Capital of UK.

UK comprises, Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland and England.

  11. You are English and from England - only thanks to our Government you are no longer allowed to be.  You now have to be British and from Great Britain.  You can no longer put English on any official forms.  Even though we have to be British and from the United Kingdom (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland & Wales) it is still O.K. for the Welsh to be Welsh, the Scots to be Scotish and the Irish to be Irish, we are just no longer allowed to be English and from England.

  12. Your from England, England is the country and the United Kingdom is the collection of countries/isles (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales) which make up Great Britain.

  13. England is a country.

UK is a collection of countries (Its too eatly for me to think of its proper name)

But you are a citizen of the United Kingdom. But any aplications you do should say England

  14. Depends on where you were born or your parentage.

My folks were from Dublin but I have lived here all my life.

    I count myself as British.

Who exactly are the English anyway ?

  15. The UK is not a Country but a Union of,

    England,

    Scotland,

    Wales

The Country you are from is England,

  16. england is not a country but a "STATE" politically speaking, the country you are from is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
