  1. WHAT is your NATIONALITY?  To answer your question that is IMPORTANT INFORMATION to give us here on Answers.

    If you want a resident alien visa that is a whole different thing from a tourist visa and MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE. Check with the Belize Cousulate nearest you or find them on the internet and ASK THEM... because only THEY will know... you won't get the answer here on Answers since it depends on NATIONALTY and we don't know that.


  2. Out of curiosity I did a search for "US State Department" and came up with:

    travel.state.gov says that visitors to Belize need a visa [good for up to 30 days], valid passport, and return ticket.  For visits longer than 30 days, one needs to contact the government of Belize at embassyofbelize.org, according to the State Dept website.

    You will want to make sure that your passport is valid for the amount of time you would be there and then some [countries require varying length of time remaining before passport expires].
