If i am planning on going to Australia for 1 or 2 months on a gap year how much would recommed i take?

To include accommodation, transport, food and activities for a good time etc. (ie Everything). Dont mind staying in budget accommodation/

Well I took £5k and that lasted me 9 months a few years ago. Mind you I dont drink! A recent copy of lonely planet will give you some ideas of the cost of hostels etc and it depends on how much/far you want to travel!

I would say that on £2000 you would have the best time of your life for 2 months.  You would be able to do everything you wanted.  That's staying in hostels, which are the best anyway as you meet loads of people.
