If i am single do still can get a canadian permanent resident visa and is it harder to get it this way.?

online test?????  there is no online test for permanent residence.  that is alot of paperwork and fees to pay but no test.  unless you are looking at the canadian citizenship test???and that my friend is a minimum of 3-4 yrs down the road after the permanent residence.

points for what?  did you see if you qualify to come here?  if you have enough points then by all means apply to come here.  Whether you are single or married it still takes awhile to immigrate here.  It isn't overnight and it certainly isn't cheap.  Lot of paperwork and photos and medicals .....

do your homework before you take the plunge...you have to be able to support yourself while you are here.

Hey buddy, while I believe that you think you passed the online qualification guideline for independent immigrants, I caution you that they (CIC Canada) may score you differently when you send in your papers.

I say this because your job description (you will have to submit this) must be very close to the Canadian definition of the job you are saying you have experience. Example, my friend applied for the position of Management Consultant because she was working as a Compliance Officer in a big multinational bank. But because her job description did not match the NOC definition of a Management Consultant, she was denied. She later applied again with the help of an Immigration Consultant and applied as a Methods and Procedures Analyst (which was the correct position) and got approved.

One can apply by himself but if your job is somewhat different than what you apply for, then you may encounter a problem. Your being sinlge is not going to be a problem for you. You must have adequate funds to support your application. Good luck.**
