  1. The chupacabra is neither simian or canine.  There is only one chupacabra, and there will only be one chupacabra.  The chupacabra history is falsely considered to originate in Cuba or Puerto Rico.  The truth is that during WWII the testing of atomic devices converted a Mexican peasant that lived downwind from Los Alamos testing facility.  Experts in the study of the chupacabra maintain the premise that the chupacabra wreaked havoc in the United States southwest first, then swam the Gulf of Mexico to Cuba, then later to Puerto Rico.  There can only be one chupacabra, as it is sterile due lagrely to the radioactive fallout it recieved in it's origin.  There can only be one chupacabra.  It is over 60 years old, and shows no signs of stopping.  It also shows no signs of aging.  It is believed that this is due to the radioactive nature of the creature.  The chupacabra is no more a devolved humanoid ape than you are.  Although it was human before it transended, the fallout radically altered its brain function.  The chupacabra does not have the ability to lead an entire planet of apes, much less the ability to fly a spaceship to get there.  The brain of the chupacabra has largely been turned to mush.  Of course this is speculation, at best, as the chupacabra has never been captured to study.  However, from studying the actions of the creature, one can plainly see that the beast has been reduced to basic survival instinct.  Why else would it only eat the innards of the livestock that it kills?

So, to answer your question, No.  The planet of the apes can never belong to the chupacabra.  But, if you genuinely are a devolved humanoid ape, then there is a possibility the you could conquer and rule the planet.

  2. Technically, Cornelius and Zira were not devolved humanoid apes...they were evolved from apes (and could be construed as 'humanoid' I guess).

As far as I know there were no chupacabra on the planet of the apes (earth) but the jury is still out.

In either case, no the planet of the apes would still belong to the apes ("of the" meaning "belonging to" in this context). Otherwise it would be called Planet of Skullzuka.

  3. "If i am the chupacabra or a devolved humanoid ape"

Then you probably wouldn't be able to operate a computer and even read - much less actually post this question.

However, "the chupacabra " is rarely, if ever, described as being simian in form and is much too small in stature to compete with anything the size of a human and/or the strength of an ape or gorilla.

As for "a devolved humanoid ape", I suppose that would depend on how FAR you had devolved, and whether or not there was another species any less devolved than you.

From what I recall of that movie "PLANET OF THE APES", though, there did not seem to be anything on it WORTH having!  If I owned it?  Well, there's one piece of real-estate I would dump in a hurry!

  4. Sure why not...

  5. yes....sure.  10 points please.

  6. You need to check your species. Primate or canine?

  7. This question's got a distinct Polls and Surveys feel to it...well, you'll have to send a sample of your DNA to the CSIRO first, but all the best.

  8. Only if you can also travers space/time. I believe those points are mine!

  9. Actually, you'd be the first male of your species. Then you'd have to find a female consort to start your own planet...On second thought, given the condition of our planet now, maybe it would be yours. ;)

  10. If the screen writer likes you!
