  1. I hope that someone more knowledgeable than I am answers your question, but I would like to make one point.

I've known a number of medical students in Australia and their study load has been so heavy that most found it very difficult to hold down even a simple part time job. Your existing degree may give you some credits towards a medical degree, but you should investigate very carefully whether it would be possible to work as a pharmacist and study medicine at the same time. Also,  once you finish your university medical studies, you still need to do your hospital internship. It would then be impossible to work at anything else.

The following is a link to fee information for the University of Queensland School of Medicine. In Queensland, Medicine is always a post-graduate degree and I understand that many medical students study Pharmacy as their under graduate degree. Medicine is still offered as an under graduate degree in some other states.

As a pharmacist, you will probably be able to get permanent residency which will greatly reduce the fees.
