  1. Depends on the parties, the lawyers, the insurance companies.  Too many what-ifs to get a real answer.  


  2. If you're hurt at all, insurance companies wait a minimum of a year before settling to make sure than hidden injuries don't show up later.

  3. At least a year if the settlement payment request is over $10K.
