no, only if they asked someone else online (who has your screen name) if you were online... otherwise you're safe

No, it will just show that you are offline.

No, they can't tell. To them, it will just look as if you're offline. To you, there will be a red circle with a white line going through it and they will always be offline. You can't read their status message, but you can see their icon. :]

It depends. They won't right out be told that you've blocked them. As long as they are on the screename you've blocked it will simply appear as though you are never on.

However, if they mention it to someone that you haven't blocked they might catch on. Also, if they make a new SN and add your SN to it they will see you again. So if someone wants to figure out whether they've been locked or not its as easy as just asking someone else with AIM whether you are online or not. :/

No. It just makes it so you never appear as "online" on their buddy list. I have tested it on myself before to check.
