  1. Once you take delivery of a new vehicle, you can not return it unless the financing falls through, the dealership grants you a return, or you live in California and purchased the 3 day return policy. Good luck.

  2. New or used?  Dealer or private party?  What is in the contract you signed?  That all makes a difference, but the general answer is "no".

Most cars can not be returned once the purchase order is signed.  Some dealers are giving a so many days or so many miles return where you can exchange it for something else.

Someone is bound to tell you that you have 3 days to return a car.  You don't. that is Urban Legend.  CA does allow a return, but you have to sign up and pay for it in the beginning before it will work.

  3. I run a new car dealership and this comes up from time to time.  Once you take delivery of the vehicle the vehicle is now "used".  The deal can go through what is called an "unwind" where the deal is null and void but this requires a dealer to be willing to do so or government agency to step in if there was fraud.

In order for the dealer to be willing to unwind it, you would probably have to agree to buy another new vehicle from them.  Based on my experience running a dealership, I would say this is your only shot.

  4. No
