  1. I think others are not understanding you. Do you mean,-- " can you use the exisiting satalite dish to obtain a new service from a Freeview Satellite Box?" The answer is YES you can use the exisiting dish and cable. What you cannot do is connect the dish to a digital box designed for terresrtial (land) based freeview,

    I hope this is the answer to what you were asking.


  2. No! And I doubt there is anywhere on the box to connect the s***w thread from the dish. You will need a wideband aerial (B+Q £14).

  3. No, only freesat will run through a sky satelitte dish, not freeveiw.  

  4. NO, it needs a wide band ariel.

  5. No it won't but if you want to pick up free to air programmes through an existing satellite dish there are 2 options: freesat (www.freesat.co.uk) and sky freesat (freesatfromsky.co.uk). Freeview takes its signal from a wideband aerial.
