If i bought tuna fish from the supermarket on sunday and it is now wednesday?

Not so sure, does it smell fishy?  If not, cook thoroughly, try a tropical salsa with it, very good. Recipe at:

If you had it in the fridge, sitting on ice, you can probalby get away with it.  If you did not, I'd be REALLY suspicious of its freshness.

smell it. if it smells good it is ok. i try not to buy fish if i don't plan on eating it that same day

Don't eat it raw.  I'd smell it and see if it still smells normal.  If it smells bad then toss it.  The nose knows.

Is it canned or fresh. Either way 1 day past shouldn't be to bad as long as it was properly stored.

It is ok to eat, but I personally would not eat it.  I don't eat "fishy" smelling fish.  The fresher the better.
