  1. chances are the offspring would be red, but it is a complex question.

Albinism is usually the result of homozygous recessive genes, however colour is usually defined by complex genetic variants. For example, you could end up with white, pink or red offspring, or a combination of the three.

if red is dominant (A) and albinism is recessive(aa)

aa*AA = all offspring Aa (red)

    aa*Aa = 1/4 aa (white) 1/2 Aa (red) 1/4 AA (red)

or albinism and colour could interact or be multiple-gene reliant

  2. Which ever color is the dominate color. It can be albino and have a hint of a pink color. But it all depends on which color is dominate and you can't tell till the offspring is born.

  3. Simply put, your crayfish will probably be red.

This is because the albino phenotype (appearance) is usually the result of an organism's homozygous genotype (genetic makeup). This means that chances a "normal" organism and an "affected" organism having offspring with albinism is very low.
