i'm going to the Milwaukee Mile in two weeks for both the truck race and the nationwide race. I know at the Nationwide race, i'll be close to were the camera pans over my area, i don't know about the truck race as to how close to the cameras i'll be, but i want to bring signs with the ESPN2 / Nationwide logo, and another sign to the Craftsman Truck series to hold up. how good of a chance do i have getting myself seen on tv with them?

  1. Have your wife flash for the camera.

  2. Go to where they do their Speed channel coverage from the desk. In the trailer area before you enter the racetrack, where everybody mills around buying souvenirs and getting free stuff. You'll see the camera up above when it pans the crowd, wave your sign etc. I have seen myself on tv when I scan the taped race coverage when I get home.

  3. ah  VERY ah ah GOOD ah CHANCE

  4. You can't carry signs into a race.  Think about it.  Have you ever seen a sign during race coverage?  Nope.  So no, it will not help you get on TV.  And besides, if you are at the race, how would you see yourself on TV?
