  1. It doesn't really matter, you should make it as big as you possibly can though, because the bigger the box, the better the bass will sound.

  2.     you building a box  2 sub. 1000 w  each.

    BUT how many inches is your speaker.is it  36 , 24, 18, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4  or  what.

    1. isoboric band two speaker facing each other  no need for a bigger space. it is louder.

    2. a band pass a speaker hide inside the box

only a 3 inches port. the deepest bass to chake the earth. i can design

4 ohms down  2 ohms  and below 1 half ohms.

12 inches  speaker how think is magnet on back of spk,

two two types of Speakers .full rance or extended bass.

to buld a speaker box is a  cubic inches by volume

  3. You should build the box size according to the Subwoofer's specifications (particularly it's THIELE SMALL PARAMETERS)

Thiele Small Parameters are a set of information about the speaker itself. They are usually included in the owner's manual of the subwoofer. They can also be found on the manufacturer's website most of the time.

You should use these parameters and a box building program such as Win ISD to determine how big the subwoofer's enclosure will be.

Making a box "as big as possible" isn't always the best thing, as some subwoofer's do not require a lot of air space to operate.

For woofer's that do not need a lot of airspace, making an over-sized box will be harmful because it will make the subwoofer behave like it is not in a box at all.
