If i burn a PS2 iso file will it play on a PS2 game console?

I have ripped a PS2 game using the trial version Alcohol 120%, now to test it. i burned it with the iso burner onto a DVD but when i tried play it in the PS2 game console would it *** play, it said insert a PS2 game.

What happened, what have i done wrong please...thx you all.

Is there some other type of burner to use apart from a iso burner, i do no theres a game copier but thats too easy, i like to learn.

  1. It has to be chipped..


  2. Thats the first step. It would play if your ps2 accepted BURNED DISCS. You have to buy a chip online that will be installed in your ps2 to switch your PS2 to accepting writable discs. Then you can burn all u want.

  5. is ur ps2 chipped ?????????....in order to play copies u have to get it chipped ...when u buy a ps2 it dont come chipped as standard you have to find someone who will do for you ... hope that helps em,
