  1. probably not but there's only one way to find out!

  2. The banana seed is at the bottom of the fruit.

    Most bananas sold are hybrids.

If you plant an entire banana it will most likely just rot.  Bananas are tropical fruit and need year-round heat and humidity to thrive.

  3. I really don't think so, but the easiest way would be going to a shrub or tropical nursery you could probably get a small banana tree. Most banana trees that you buy were cut off of a larger banana tree.

    Good luck.

  4. When my gran daughters cat died it got buried.

She thinks her cat is a seed now.

She thinks it will sprout kittens.

There is only one way to find out.

I have been told that the whole banana is the seed.

But I am not so sure about that.

I have noticed seeds in the middle but they are tiny.

Notice on the very end there is something where the

    banana disconnects from the peal.

It may be a much larger seed?

You may want to dry it out and try growing it in some seed starter.

  5. No, most commercial banana fruitt have sterile seeds; for banana seeds see catalogues, for example the one below. I hope it helps.

  6. Just peel it first...that's where the seeds are!

  7. I would think not. Especially where I live, our growing season is no more than 150 days. (NJ).
