yes. the price is same after you pay import tax. you'd be better off buying a UK ps3 incase of problems, garentee etc. apart from that ps3 is region free for games.

Yes and also the games from germany will also work because Sony got rid of the region ban so that you can buy PS3s and their games from any were in the world. Add ons like extra controllers will also work.

YES IT WILL , because the U.K and Germany are in the same region(the PAL region ), (which all of europe and austrailia are in), it would be different if you took it from america or japan to the U.K( this i because they are in the NTSC region)

yes, they are both PAL but you will need a plug converter.  Cause the power outlets are different.  as for the games, you can play pals
