If i buy a cheeper plasma could i put the screen in the broken 1?

i have a 50 plasma that has a broken screen could i buy a cheep plasma and put the screen in the other 1?

Apart from the obvious fact that you don't have the electrical knowledge or experience to do it safely, what would be the point?

The only screen that will fit is another Sony one, specifically for that model.  As yours has now been discontinued, you won't be able to find one anyway.

Your only solution is to buy another TV.

No as different makes and models of Plasma have different connectors and voltages used as a g8 screen is totally different from a g9 one.

you're better off buying a proper screen that has what you want and LCD at 47" have better pictures than most plasma's and are lighter and cheaper too.
