If i buy a computer game like sims 2 will it mess up my computer?

my sister wont let me buy a computer game becouse she thinks it will mess up my computer... i want to prove her wrong..

no not at all it foesnt have viruses u can put a billion of those on there but it wont do anything... o and when you tell her to look at this shes gonna say well im just another guy on the internet but i no im not wrong

Um, no, if that were the case then hundreds of millions of people wouldn't be buying computer games every year.  All a computer game does is install information on your hard drive. So the only thing effected is the memory that it uses, when you aren't playing the game.  When you are playing the game it uses the processor to run the game so it will slow down the computer if you wanted to do other things, but if your playing the game you wont be trying to do other things so it doesn't matter. Just make sure your computer has the specs the game needs and the memory and it will run fine. When you are done playing the game for good just uninstall the game and the content it installed on your hard drive will be removed and it will be like nothing was there in the first place.
