If i buy a new ipod touch will it have the iphone 2.0 upgrade one it?

i'm getting an ipod touch in september and i want to know if it has the iphone 2.0 upgrade on it or if i need to buy that separately

yea no  it will not have it even thougth it  its new from the apple store only new iphone have that upgrade included.but you can download it for $9.99 off itunes.so get the ipod touch buy the 2.0 upgrade sync your ipod then it will be running with the 2.0 upgrade.theres no new once coming out in September,all ipod touch are the same weather they are new or not if you want the update buy it i know this for a fact.i bought mine 3 weeks ago

If you buy it in september you will have to pay $9.95 for the upgrade.

If you feel like saving some money you can "jailbreak" your itouch. All applications are free and there are many many more. But would be a pain in the butt to figure out.

i don't think ipod touches come with the updated software, but im not positive. My guess is that they want to make the $10 extra for you to upgrade.

Idk but you should ask the people in the apple store. they are really awesome at answering questions/ fixing problems with their products.

i want to know the same thing. Apple should release a new one in September and have a $100 price drop. so i would just wait. i want mine now but i know its probably worth the wait. I think it also depends on where you buy it from i it has 2.0 because some shops may have old stock

I know this is a bit off topic.  I love my new iPhone.  My favorite function is the voicemail function. It's also called visual voicemail. With the visual voicemail you can go directly to any message. You don't have to listen to the other messages first. I think this is a very nice iPhone feature. Now you don't have to waste any time by listening to other messages.
