If i buy an iPhone in US, can i use that in the Philippines?

if ur iphone is unlocked, u can use it. the other features w/c makes the iPhone, well, THE iPhone, may not be available though.

You can still use it of course but some features are not supported here in the Philippines.

These features may not be supported:

- Safari

- You Tube

- Stocks

- Maps

- Weather

Also, as of the moment, iTunes is still not supported here in the Philippines.

You may access Web-based services if there's WiFi but then not all establishments and buildings offer free WiFi access. It will also depend on your provider.

The feature that you will enjoy most is its Music / iPod feature.  And Videos, if you have those saved in your iPhone.

Yes you can use it with limited features, you just have to unlock it, as long as you have the version 1.4 and below.  But 2.0 version, like the 2nd generation iphone, as of the moment, it doesnt work at all.
