If i buy stock right now, how much will it be worth 8 years from now?

If i buy like ATT Stock right now. How much will it be worth in 7-8 years?

That's the stock market, you never know what is going to happen at the stock market.

That is anyones guess, but the stock market averages around a 10% return a year, but that doesnt mean you can, and people dont lose their shirts.

It should be said that for a novice investor, stocks are best for a long term investment horizon, where you can absorb possible losses, and hold long enough to see them bounce back and appreciate.

First of all if you buy A stock you're taking too much risk...It's proven that a portfolio should contain at least 36 different stocks to minimize risk.  Second of all if I had a crystal ball I could tell you what ATT may/might be worth in 7-8 years. Finally, I suggest that if you're ready to plunge your hard earned $$$ into investment than AVERAGE your way into a couple fo quality Mutual Funds...You reduce your risk while enjoying low prices (just now as the markets are DUMPING)...and will eventually reap the rewards of having a low average price into them when you liquidate in 7-8 years.  Be consistent and plan it out...You'll be happy you did.  PEACE!

Hopefully nothing At&t service stinks they should be sell out again but in all actuality it's value can not be determined that far in advance
