If i buy the 2.0 software for the itouch, is there a way to back it up, just in case of the computer crash?

Like if my computer crash, i don't want to send another 10 buck buying it.

  1. Yes, you can put it on a flash drive or removable hard drive for safekeeping.  It's located at:

    C:\Users\(your username)\App Data\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPod Software Updates

    Or just search your entire hard drive for ".ipa" files.  Make sure you have hidden files visible.


  2. Yes, the 2.0 actually comes with a feature to back it up.

    Also, the software downloads straight to your computer so it will always be there.

    If your computer crashes, your iTouch still has the software on it so it won't effect anything really.
