If i can take off, fly, and land a plane on microsoft flight simulator X, could i do it in real life?

Is the game THAT realistic?

i would prefer if a real pilot who has also played the game answers me

no... and don't try it. i'm not a real pilot even though someday i want to be one... but i know that there are lots of other things that you have to deal with that don't show up on flight simulator. i use fsx all the time and i'm good at it but there's other factors to real world flying.

for one there's no way you can simulate the movements of a plane, the many variables there are to weight speed and wind.

you also wouldn't know many of the faa rules or even know how to communicate properly with atc.

also there are too many systems that aren't on fs that you have to worry about in real life.

my opinion is if you could even get the plane off the ground you wouldn't even know what to do next.

it's realistic in a way that you will at least know where some of the gauges and controls are at. the thing about flight simulator is that you could be doing things wrong all the time and not even realizing it. you're not that lucky in real life

Well I'm no pilot

But my sister's boyfriend plays "ALL" the flight simulators. He says its almost exactly like flying a plane.

My opinion, "Its possible".
