Because I can touch the white part of my eye w/ no problem, and no blinking.

And i'm going to get my trial pair of contacts tomorrow...i know the optometrist will teach me and stuff, but still.

*oh, and i do wash my hands before i touch my eye*

and i'm getting 2 week soft disposables.

so, you think i'll be able to put my contacts on if i can touch the white part? because i've heard that you can put your contact on the white part, and it will blink into place?

  1. I'm sure you'll be fine although i wouldn't touch the white of your eye too much otherwise you might cause some damage!  yes you do need to wash your hands before you put lenses in, grit in your eye hurts!

  2. I think you would do just fine.

  3. I think you'll do fine, as long as the contacts you try work for you, and you take care of them. I've heard some people say they would never be able to wear contacts, and it turns out when they actually try it its fine.

Yes, when you blink the contact does go into place, but the doctor tells you to move your eye in the direction it is irritating you, and it will move.
