And if i win - does that mean that my insurance will never be aware of the ticket?

also - if i complete traffic school for a ticket, does that mean my insurance will never have knowledge of it?

  1. NO IT DOES NOT . . . i got a ticket i havent even been to court for yet and they said when i go to court if i am found not responsible then fax them the info stating that and then they will adjust my insurance . . .

  2. In CA, a ticket does NOT appear on your driving record until you go to court and you're found guilty. Now, in the event that you are found guilty, and you are given the option of going to traffic school, it won't show up on your driving record. If you do go to traffic school, make sure you keep a copy of your certificate. MANY times, I've dealt with angry clients that went to traffic school and ticket is still on record. Just in case you didnt know, DMV makes mistakes. (Sarcasm!!) Good Luck.

  3. Sure, it doesn't go on your record until the

    court reaches a conclusion.

So if you actually beat it, it should not ever be seen by your insurance company.

Traffic school MIGHT prevent it from showing up on your record, but you have to ask somebody in your area.  It ain't the same all over the US.
