  1. If there is even a little chance of you being pregnant then do not have a drink!

  2. I would (and did). They don't know enough about fetal alcohol spectrum disorder yet, so the safest thing to do if you could be pregnant is to not drink, or save your drinking for during your period (although, rarely, women still get a period or two after they get pregnant, so this isn't foolproof). Or, if you know some big event is coming up that you want to drink for, use protection for the month leading up to it. They're finding out that there's a whole range of problems with fetal alcohol exposure that aren't necessarily full-blown fetal alcohol syndrome, but involve certain behaviours, delays and social problems, so it looks like the problem is actually more widespread than people even realized. No one really knows the answers yet, but the harmful impacts of messing up are pretty clearly documented. One drink once in a while probably won't hurt... but is "probably" good enough?

  3. Yes. You really should. Just avoid ANYTHING with alcohol in it until you are for sure and positive you are not pregnant. If you are, please try to avoidit.

  4. No. Unless you know for sure that you are pregnant. Some signs could be getting sick after just one drink. PLEASE be careful because it takes just one time to give a baby fetal alcohol syndrom!

  5. Yes!

FAS is a completly preventable disease, and you don't sound like an alcoholic, so just bypass the drinks, for the sake of preventing a disease in your infant!

Even if the risk seems to be small, if you indulge here and there, there doesn't have to be a risk at all, if you don't drink alcohol at all!

  6. Your user name says it all! If you are hoping for your first them why not give yourself the best chance of conceiving and if you are pregnant then give your baby the best start at life its only alcohol after all.  And there will be a time that you can have a drink again its not for ever!

  7. There is no determined safe amount of alcohol consumption during pregnancy. That said, you probably won't bring about Fetal Alcohol Syndrome with the occasional drink with dinner, or a champagne toast at a wedding. Just try not to toast yourself regularly. Of course, it's safest and best to abstain completely.

  8. well if you are pregnant you should drink, that could affect the growth of you baby and if you so concerned why don't you start using protection or ban yourself from drinking

  9. If you have any reason at all to think that you could be pregnant then Yes you should stay away from the Alcohol. It's better to be safe then sorry. Hope you get the results you want

  10. For the health of your offspring(s), absolutely, yes! If you keep on smoking and drinking one day you see ... Let`s put it this way, parents who have alchol addict and bad habbit of smoking, their offsprings will heritage their blood. The worse ones borned to be deformed.

  11. You shouldn't even have to ask this question.

    How about this one instead:

"Are my selfish actions worth it if I really am pregnant?"

And that's a self-question. Not a question you should feel you need to get other's opinions on.
