  1. I drove from Sydney to Canberra on monday and it took about 3hours, There has been problems with the M5 in the last few days tho. so there might be delays if that isn't fixed yet.

  2. I have done the drive in just over 3 hours when I was on my Learners permit and could only do 80kms/hr.

It was late at night, so there was zero traffic.

  3. 3 hours 20 minutes by car.

    4.5 hours by train

  4. 2.5 - 3 hours, depending on traffic and which bit of Sydney you are trying to get to.

  5. About 3 hours and a bit more with a break in between for a leisurely drive. But then, it depends on where you are going to in Sydney. Further out will take longer of course.

I disagree with DAN about stopping at Goulburn. It is only an hour from Canberra. It's not worth stopping there. If you need to stop for a break, anywhere around Sutton Forest or a bit further is a good place. There are several good rest stops with refreshment available around that area. Good rest before you hit the freeway.

    (sorry Dan)

    Cheers

  6. about 3 hours 37 mins. depending on the traffic.

287 km between Canberra and Sydney.

  7. Around 3 hours... the trip is close to 300kms.

Go along the Hume Hwy and stop at Goulburn (roughly halfway between Sydney and Canberra) for a break.
