  1. No you do not have to do it all over again.  Go to the website and click on "Add a school code" and you can add up to 10 different schools to your fafsa.

Usually your federal amounts will be the same (Pell, Stafford Loans), but state aid and instituitional aid may vary greatly.

  2. i had the same problem when i was applying for fafsa. i thought id be transferring to a university the next year, but i ended up staying at the community college, which i did not list on my fafsa. what i did was i called them & had them change it. it was simple, no paperwork needed. the amount of money might be different because the tuition would be different.

  3. You should not ever fill out more than one FAFSA for an award year.  You need to go to http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/FOTWWebApp/addsc... and add the new school's title iv code.  Then other school will then get your FAFSA data and start processing your eligibility.  You will need your federal PIN to make this change.  If you don't have it go to http://www.pin.ed.gov and have it mailed to you.

It's highly unlikely you will receive the same financial aid package.  While some aid, like Pell and loans, are the same at whatever school you attend, other aid programs are awarded based on federal and school policies.  At this late date, it's going to be pretty limited in what you will be awarded.

  4. You need to contact FAFSA and tell them of those changes otherwise it will be assumed you are going to the other school and money will be sent there. You don't need to fill out the paperwork all over again, just call them up.

You won't get the same amount of money because the amount varies depending on the school's cost, but you'll probably get a similar percentage.
