  1. You cant delete it from your PC because it comes with windows ..

But i think you should tray Firefox and well never go back to IE ..

  2. It would be best to download or install a new browser, first.  Make that IE's last hurrah.

  3. You cannot delete Internet Explorer...it's impossible. You can delete the shirtcut, but not the program...

    Get another,better one from FireFox.com

I use FireFox,and Never EVER use Internet Explorer

Mail or IM me any questions that I left unanswered :)

  4. I'm sorry you can't delete or unistall IE (Internet Explorer) because it come with Windows. It would be like uninstalling "Windows" in general. There are users that know how to unistall AND is you do, Windows will be messed up because it uses IE as its default update and all that stuff. Try upgrading to a new version. Maybe this can help.

    Good luck!

  5. Internet Explorer is coupled with Windows, (which has, interestingly, landed Microsoft in some anti-trust lawsuits, if you want to look that up) and cannot be truly deleted. Any deletion you make is entirely aesthetic.

In order to return the icon to your desktop, follow these instructions:

    Right-click on your desktop

Click on "Properties", which should be at the bottom of the list

    Go to the "Desktop" tab

Click on "Customize Desktop" at the bottom left

Check the box that says "Internet Explorer"

Click Okay, then Apply, then Okay.

It should reappear on your desktop.

This assumes you have Windows XP.

    I hope I could help! :)

P.S. As others have contributed, Mozilla Firefox is generally faster and a more pleasurable experience than IE. And has never been the focal point of a class-action lawsuit. ;)
