If i deposit money into a different account is it possible to get it back if i give receipt?

i have a receipt for the deposit but not sure if i can get money back

You will have to lodge a claim with the bank if you put it into a wrong account by mistake, but if that person has taken the money out of the account, you may have to go either ask them for it back or at least advise the bank, if they wont give it back you might have to go to the small claims court to retrieve your money, hope this helps, goodluck! :)

All you have to  do is withdraw it and you get your cash back.weather it is a savings acct. or a checking acct.if checking acct just make the check out to cash.It is your money so the bank cannot keep it.
