If i dial a number on my home phone will the number i dialed show up on the phone bill?

  1. Quite often it will.  It depends on your phone provider and the service/billing arrangement you have.  Vonage provides call detail for all calls.  If you have measured service from almost any phone company it will show call detail for local calls.  If the call was a toll call, it will most likely show up on your LD provider's bill.  If, however, you have basic residential service from a traditional local exchange carrier like SBC, Verizon, etc, and you don't have measured service, and the call wasn't LD, it won't show up on your bill.  So I don't think there's a definitive answer, but if you can find an old bill, you could check to see if any local calls show on a previous bill.  Or access your bill online, if the service provider offers that.

  2. It depends on what service you go with and what phone plans you go with.If you dont want the phone calls to show up on the bill then go to the phone company that u go with and tell them you want to change your monthly phone plan.
