If i do a hard reset on my ipod touch will it erase jailbreak?

i have an ipod touch i jailbreaked it so im getting the full use of it..any way my questions is if i do a hard reset on my ipod ( holding down the sleep button and the home button) will it erase every thing? like jailbreak?? and all my info... like if mest it up and take it to the apple store so they could fix it would they know that i jailbreak it?

Mine wasn't but you never can tell. My friend once lost half her songs.

Yes, it restores everything to its original settings.  You cannot get it fixed because your warrantly is useless because you tried or did jailbreak it.
