I was not at fault of the accident, I was @ right of way when the vehicle made a left because she didnt see me and hit me, they have full coverage insurance and are well aware they were at fault, they have opened a claim and I have fixed my car it was only an 1800 damage to the left front side, they are asking me for my invoice, does this mean I will get paid for the accident even though I do not have insurance, advice please ...

  1. It all depends on the state, but where I'm from, you would be charged for no insurance and be responsible for all damages to both vehicles. sorry, but go get some insurance and be safe.

  2. Yes---Now go buy Insurance.

  3. Yes, you will get paid even though you do not have insurance as long as you have a drivers license.  If you don't have a license then you are at fault, the insurance company will not pay you, and you will have to pay for her damage.

  4. You should be paid.  There is no law that I am aware of that says, YOU must have insurance to collect from anothers insurance.  Tip"  BUY SOME INSURANCE NOW !

  5. There are lots of people having the same question like you and yours is just another one. Cheap car insurance is a popular avenue these days, but you should be sure that you're getting all of the coverage you need, as damage to your car or another-->person's car may cost you money out-of-pocket if you don't have sufficient coverage and your car insurance rate may go up.

  6. Of course they can and will

  7. More than likely, yes.

It does not matter if you have insurance or not. The other party is liable for your damages. They want the invoice or repair estimate to make sure the repairs were in line. If everything matches up, they will reimburse  you for the repairs
