My mom's car has insurance but my name is not in it. Can I just drive it for my drivers license test although my name is not in the insurance? But the car itself is insured. Thanks a lot 10 pts

  1. I AGREE WITH THE ABOVE ANSWER. IDK WHAT STATE YOU ARE IN BUT IN ARIZONA LIABILITY COVERAGE EXTENDS TO ANYONE YOUR MOTHER WOULD LET USE HER VEHICLE SO YOU ARE PERFECTLY FINE FOR YOUR TEST.

    GOOD LUCK

  2. May I suggest that you have an adult with you when you go to the DMV for your driver's license test and that they drive the vehicle. When you have become properly licensed then get behind the wheel.

  3. I don't know what state you are in. But in my state, if your Mom gave you permission to drive her car, you are covered.

You can't be listed on the auto policy as a driver until you are officially licensed.

Hope you pass. The day you pass your driver's test, have your Mom add you to the policy. The price will increase, because you are an inexperienced young driver, and the risk of accidents is greater for the insurance company. (I'm assuming you are a teen, and have never been licensed.)

    Best wishes, and God bless.
