  1. they will help but ultimatly not help enough.  try a smoothie or a good salad, even incorporate veggies into noodle dishes

  2. yes they will if you take enough i do not know how many tablets to take however you can live off vitamins without food so i am assuming they make p for your vegetables

  3. Nope.

But don't worry, there are lots of people out there who are living on coffee, snacks, and instant food etc.  They seem to get by somehow.

Vitamins (the pills) are a total rip off and just a joke if you ask me.

  4. hi shaker maker, yes they will,     blue

  5. Apparently if you take vitamins for long periods of your life it can increase the risks of (some form of) cancer.

I read it in the newspaper recently, but I dont know if its the newspaper talking out of its **** like usual, but i'd personally stay away from vitamins lol.

  6. if u dont wanna eat red meat become a pescetarian u can eat fish for protein plus how could anyone go without lobster or sushi?? but if ur gonna be that stubborn cant help. srry.

    =P

  7. its better to eat fresh fruit and veg if u can but if not a vitamin tablet will ensure u get all the things u need. get a multivitamin and minderal one.

  8. Not completely, but transplanted fireweed was right-you can get the same nutrients in fruit and it is more palatable to most people.

However-I suggest you continue to experiment with vegetables-try new varieties or new ways of preparing them. A lot of people find that after a while they start enjoying the taste of vegetables more.

  9. You need to get over your bad self and eat the veggies and fruit (5 a day minimum) if you want to be healthy. Vitamins won't do it for you.

  10. unfortunatly not.

The thing about fruit and veg is that it has fiber and in the fiber is where the vitamins are. Your body cant utilise the same vitamins in a pill the way it can with the ones in the fiber, it will do some, but not all and its unlikely if not possible, that it will just not be used and then just go stright through you.

This is because when you eat the fiber in the vitamins, enzymes are produced to use the energy in the fiber and also to get rid of the roughage, its these enzymes that also help with the digestion of the vitamins and minerals, your body just doesnt produce these with a pill.

This is one reason why its always suggested you take your pills with food, but unfortuatly not all the vitamins in the pill will be used, the wrong enzymes are produced when you eat certain foods and just take a pill, but dont eat the foods where the vitamins came from originally. Added to this is the fact they are manmade, not natural and so the body can see them as alien and get rid of them for this reason also, some will "stick" but fdefinatly not all.

Scientists have done studies on this and still there does not exist a pill that is as good as a piece of fruit of a vegetable.

    Nice try though!

  11. To some extent, yes, especially if your multi-vitamin is well chelated so that the body can use and absorb it and if taken with meals.  It is better than nothing.  It is still best to get your nutrients from food rather than supplements, but if you can't make yourself eat vegetables, then by all means take supplements.  It's probably better for you than picking away at(or gagging on) vegetables.  Fruits have a lot of the same nutrients, too, and are usually more palatable.
