If i dont have a phone line do i need to pay for sky to be installed?

I am getting sky installed shortly and do not have a phone line, i dont really want to get a phone line as it is too much hassle (i have a mobile) but do i need to pay any extra for the sky box to be installed? If so how much does it cost? Ive seen so many different answers but none that really answer mine, i want it cleared up. Thanks

Which one are you getting? The basic sky, sky+ as this makes a difference.

i don't think you need to pay any extra.the reason you need a phone line is for ordering any movies or main events.

wrong wrong wrong i recently moved house and didnt get round to getting the bt line installed . Sky charge you 50 pound for no bt line because during the sky installation  they need a phone line for the box to talk back to sky to activate the box if you dont have a land line the sky engineer needs to ring sky off his mobile and tell the customer service rep to manually activate the box  by reading out the serial card number ect and its extra hassle for sky so thats what  they charge u fifty pound for you also need a phone line for alot of red button services and most interactive services

you have to have a phone line for the sky box to be conected too

As far as I know you have to have a phone line connected to the Sky box as part of your contract.
