If you have limewire active, then yes, it could slow down your internet, as well as your computer. I recommend not sharing your music files, as well as closing out of limewire when you are not using it, and this should take care of a majority of any speed issues.

It will usually automatically connect to the internet every time you start your computer, so you're going to want to click Tools- Options, then go through the options to be sure it doesnt connect on start-up. otherwise it could slow you down significantly

To avoid the speed, virus, spyware. malware. and legal issues that come with installing limewire on your pc. You just flirt with some geek and have them get what you want & send it to you.

depends how much RAM u have and how many programs are active if you are gonna download limewire  should have a good virus protection program always active ,limewire can be a pain in the a** bcuz of the many viruses.i have symantec endpoint protection and so far everything is fne i cant say the same as my friend so be carefull wat u download on limewire

my computer is decent in connections and downloads and when i downloaded limewire nothing changed.
