  1. Nah. Recurring dreams indicate some present problem that you don't/won't deal with; it's just that they will repeat, like some annoying TV commercial, until you "accept responsibilities".

** I just re-read the question, and it seems I missed your point about the likelihood of some bad future event- read thru some of other people's premonitions, and you'll see a troubling majority of a dark and troubled future, for oneself or some larger community. Your feelings aren't unique that way, and my own are pessimistic, but not threatening.

The real question, as things stand, is how pervasive and prevalent are these collective misgivings? That's what winds my clock.

  2. It is definitely possible. I have had recurring dreams that have come true EXACTLY as I dreamed them so there is no way a coincidence is possible. I think these dreams are messages from God. Some may be in order to prepare you for future troubles and to show you that God is aware. Some are there to warn you not to get involved in a certain situation. If you have a dream that you overdosed on pills, don't have any pills in your home. If you dream that you had a motorcycle accident don't ride any motorcycles. I am obviously saying that you should look for clues in the dream that will help you avoid the dangerous circumstance.

  3. No. Dreams do not come true, except in strange coincidences.

  4. My repetetive dreams baffle me. I've had many that DID come true, but they were dreams that I only had once. My dreams usually get vivid when my life is filled with lots to think about, busy spots in my life. But I've never had one of those come to pass. The psycologist tells us that dreams are filters for our subconcious... so we won't, oh, run amuck or something. Lately, I've had what I call 'instructional' dreams, where someone is trying to teach me something important. I have no idea what. Go figure. Thanks for the question!

  5. Absolutely not. You can't make something true by dreaming about it. You have to take action to make it happen.

It just means you are having a reoccurring dream, which we all have, and the best way to get rid of your bad dreams caused by your subconscious fears is to face them. Tell people about the dreams you have, realize how silly they are and tell yourself that you will be just fine and the dreams will go away.

Also, if you're thinking that this might be a premonition, stop right there. Most premonitions are never about your own fate or death, but about other people and events. I say this because we're not supposed to know about our own fate, otherwise we won't make the right decisions and the mistakes we learn from in our lives.
