No.  Just don't drink during the week or so hard that you have a hangover when you need to be studying.

And you might want to learn to spell in this language first before you start studying other languages.

Drinking will make it harder for you to study from books, but if you're trying out the spoken language in a bar, it will greatly improve your skills.

I would say that studying while inebriated would definitely make it harder to learn.  But studying after you sobered up (if you don't get a massive hang over) shouldn't be a problem.
