  1. Yes, go to the adult school in your school district and you can either get a GED or finish the classes you need. It's all book work and can be finished in a decent amount of time. You might have to go to a community college first, but its a great stepping stone to transfer to a university. You can do anything in this society, even if you dropped out of high school =)

Oh, and don't enroll in those vocational schools... Places like Heald College or whatever they have in your area. They cost as much money as a real university and the jobs you get do not pay well.

  2. No.

The majority of Community Colleges require either a high school diploma or a GED; you don't have either.

As for a good job, if that involves minimum wage, then yes, you will.

  3. no you have to pass all of highschool atleast

but if you dont then you could only probrably get into

    a community college

  4. It depends on what you think of as a really good job, or what your skills are. For professional work, probably not. Finish up! :)

  5. You should if you're really committed and willing to push yourself a lot. A lot of people are successful and didn't go to college

  6. Technically you could.  But why would you want to do that?  You're only young once and you can only go to high school once.  When you're actually there, it seems boring and you just want to get out of there.  But 5 years from now, you've wished you stayed  and just enjoyed your time there with your friends.  Comon now,  life can be AWESOME if you make it to be.  And yes, you can get a really good job if you get your GED later on.  So unless you won the lottery or something, I would recommend to stay in school.  Don't give up so easily, you could end up regretting for not even putting your all in the first place.

  7. u can drop otu now

but u MUST take adult skool.. n ull have a shot at college. and areally good job..

juz remmeber.... wen ur in college u will haev an oppertunity so its really up 2 u..

and try to  make the right decision in the courses u wanna take leadin to ur future career..

    plan ahead... it helps

  8. It at all possible, I recommend that you stick it out and finish high school.  If there's no possible way that you can, a good alternative would be to study for and take your G.E.D.--General Education Development diploma.

I did, in fact, drop out of high school in the early part of 11th grade.  I took my GED, scored well, and joined the U.S. Navy.  Many colleges and universities will also accept this, in lieu of a regular high school diploma, for entrance.  And you don't have to be 18 to take this exam.

If you have a specific college in mind, check to see what their particular admissions requirements are, before you make that final decision.  Another possibility for you, instead of attending and finishing your regular high school curriculum might be, Independent Study.

Many school districts offer this option to youth in the inner cities and/or in at risk, or high risk family living situations.  The reason is, they recognize that it may be much harder for you to be motivated to attend school or to even concentrate on your studies, in general.

    Whatever you decide, good luck!

  9. I don't think so

  10. This is what u should do.  Since u dropped out of HS as a minor u can prolly go back before u turn 18.  There are two options here and u should carefully chose which one u want to take.  1) U can go back to HS finish off, chill with friends and take ur time if u r a patient person.  2) U can Go into a GED Program (for 6 months or less hopefully) at a local Community College or Vocational School and take the GED to finish high school quick but will not go into a university.  Listen, I think u should do number 2 because after HS u will not go into a university anyway because of ur interest in withdrawing from HS.  Just do number 2 it'll be better off than where u r right now.  If ur patient and don't care what people think, do #1-u can enjoy (1-2 or so more years) of high school even though its highly unlikely u will go to a university.  As for jobs never put "GED" on your application.  Always put High School Diploma.  It technically is a High School Diploma from the State's School Board and it is equal to a standard High School Diploma, not honors or anything of that nature...

  11. nop !! u will hv to  start ur career with a small job then gradually increase it !!! better to go for higher studies !!!

  12. if you drop out of high school in 11th grade you can get a GED but go into the military work as a physical laborer but you will not be able to go to college.    getting a good job? thats all on what you want to be there are plenty of options if you drop out but getting paidwell options are very limited

  13. not a good idea, it will not be worth it.

  14. depends on what you consider a good job.

I'm sure you could get into a community college of something

  15. You'll need a GED before any kind of college is open to you, but it is still a possibility. You might start in a local (accredited!) community college, and perhaps transfer to a 4-year university. With that diploma, you've got just as much chance of landing the job of your choice as anyone else! It won't be easy, don't kid yourself, but it is completely possible for you.

  16. no you wont you need to go back!

  17. Get your GED and you can go to college and do whatever it is you like.  Good luck.

  18. No, you would have to finish high school before you could go to college.

  19. NO keep on goin to High school most  of the time when ppl dont finsh HS the label them as failier even when you get your GED so suck it up ur almost done its better to have a Diploma HS

  20. yes you could get a GED. dropping out of high school is a huge mistake for so many reasons so sit down with wise people before you do something so foolish.

    Good luck

  21. Sure, get your GED, try some community college, and then transfer to a four-year university.  Shoot for the stars and work hard.  If there is a will, there's a way.  Good luck!

  22. Figure out what you want to do, get your GED (which isn't that hard), go to community college for 2 years to get general ed transfer credits, transfer to a college or university, and you're in good shape.  You aren't in bad shape at all.  Do well in community college and when you attempt to transfer to a university, your gpa would matter more than you dropping out of high school (it really wouldn't matter).  Just show progress from where you start and where you plan on finishing
