If i drove w/o licens?

What would happen to me if i drove my dads car without a drivers licens?

If you dont have a licence and ur not 18 you cant get a licence till you turn 18. if you are 18 driving with out a licence then you have to go to court and then you cant get your licence for another 2 years if your licence was suspended then its you start your suspention over again and add 2 years.

In some states you can be forbidden to get a license until 21 if you are an unlicensed minor who drives w/o a license.  

Your father will also face repercussions in most states, sometimes he goes to jail or pays a fine, sometimes the court gets involved as or the fitness of his parenting.

If you wreck, insurance will almost never cover that accident, but you and your parents are still liable so it could hurt that way as well.  

Generally, I do not recommend it.

The car would be impounded.

They might even charge you with theft if you took the car without permission.

If it turns out that your father knew you took the car, he would be in trouble (endangering the well being of a minor), or at least letting an unlicensed driver take the car.
