  1. You're supposed to gain weight DURING recovery, and then afterwards, you may want to STAY at a healthy weight and will no longer need this much.  When I was 11 I got anorexic, and mine weaned me up from 1200 to 2000 when she saw I wasn't gaining enough weight on 1200.  You shouldn't gain weight forever if you just eat healthily after recovering.  Good luck:)  xxxxx

  2. I would guess that once you reach a healthy weight you should stabilize your caloric intake to a regular around 2000 or whatever, and you should be fine.  the thing is you gain 1lb for every 3500 calories of excess, which is why 2000 calories a day is a good amount to eat each day because its easy for your body to use that up with regular activities and light exercise.

  3. you will probably gain a little weight at first because your metabolism is not used to it, but your body will quickly adapt and you will no longer gain weight, good luck with your recovery

  4. At first you're going to gain because your body is not used to eating all that much food, and will store it as fat since it thinks there's no food around and still in survival mode. By starving yourself, you've killed your metabolism. Over time, your body will adjust and your metabolism will increase once it realizes there's food around to eat and it doesn't have to store it as fat anymore. 2,200 isn't that much, though, as long as you get some exercise, too.
