  1. If you lost your period because you were losing weight—because you are afraid of gaining weight, that makes it sound like you are severely malnourished and probably have an eating disorder. Yes, you need to eat fat, and you need to see a doctor.

  2. ask your doctor

  3. who would want their period back...let stay away!

  4. in order for your period to come back, your body needs to feel that it is healthy enough to support a baby (even if you aren't planning on having one.) It isn't just protein, or calcium, it is a balance of everything.  You need to eat healthy...which doesn't necesarily mean gaining weight.  Try eating lots of fruits and vegetables, and make sure your diet is balanced.  If you need help finding the right balance, talk to a nutritionist or your family doctor.

  5. You probably don't weigh enough (I'm guessing this because you're not wanting to gain any). When I lost a lot of weight I lost mine. I ate more healthy fats and gained a little weight and I got mine back.

  6. Well if your period went away, there is definitely something wrong. If your period goes away its because your either pregnant or not healthy enough to bare children.

  7. SEE A DOCTOR!!!! he will tell u the right answer 4 your question!!

  8. I would go to the doctor just in case. It could be eating related or something else like stress. Some women have very irregular periods and your gyno can help you figure out what is going on.

  9. you might have an eating disorder...... see a doctor.

  10. Women's periods get more stable when they feel more stable. Protein and calcium are good, but you might need even more security than that

  11. You need a doctor to answer this question - after an examination and a detailed history.

Amenorrhea can have all sorts of causes, some of which are dietary. And I have a nagging suspicion that you just possibly might be anorexic, which means you really, really, need to see a doctor, and soon!
