  1. most people are saying the twilight series but thats really not like harry potter. if I were you I would go with books like artemis fowl

  2. have you looked into the inheritence series by christopher paolini it is the best series ever third book (out of four) is out in about a month

  3. The "Twilight" Series as everyone else has mentioned. I dunno, I think you would enjoy The Da Vinci Code..or any of the other novels in the series by Dan Brown...these books seem to have the same mystery air within them. :)

  4. If you're a girl, read the twilight series....

If not, then read "artemis fowl" series, it's pretty good.

  5. just read Harry Potter!! it's enough!!

  6. The Twilight series is absolutely amazing

  7. Artemis Fowl, Narnia, or read some series that involve non-fiction

  8. OOOOOOO the TWILIGHT series; they have vamps, werewolves, romance, fighting, and humans - AWESOME books!!!  GOTTA CHECK 'EM OUT!!!  : )

  9. For the magic end of things, Robert Asprin's "Myth" series is a fun read.  More of a fantasy setting, but his take on explaining the mechanics of magic is top notch.

For the school side of things, try Jenny Nimmo's Charlie Bone series.  Charlie has is endowed with the supernatural ability to hear what is happening in photos.  His evil aunts send him to Bloor's Academy where some of the other students also have supernatural powers.  Imagine Hogwarts with more parental involvement and unique powers instead of spell casting.

  10. The Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn) is extremely popular, like Harry Potter. They are quite different, but I know a lot of Harry Potter fans who also enjoy Twilight. It's personally my favorite series, as well as Harry Potter.

  11. there are certain authors I would recommend for you, you can choose to read most of them or all of them or none of them your choice they are all fiction/fantasy writers

    Tamora Pierce

    Phillip Pullman

    Garth Nix

    and for older readers

    Cassandra Claire

    Hope I've helped

  12. Ok it seems that everyone has said the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer and I quite agree. It goes Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn.

Another good series is the Uglies by Scott Westerfield. This one goes Uglies, Pretties, and then Specials.

The last one I would have to say the The Goose Girl Series by Shannon Hale. Every new book the narrator changes but the books are pretty good. It goes Goose Girl, Enna Burning, and River Secrets.

  13. The Gemma Doyle trilogy by Libba Bray are great books.

1st book- A Great and Terrible Beauty

    2nd book- Rebel Angels

3rd book- The Sweet Far Thing

These books have a variety of different themes intertwined-fantasy,romance, and action.

Here's Libba Bray's website that will tell you about the books:
