If i fail to mail my summons back to do jury duty will i go to jail or get another summons?

In most cities, if you do not show up on the date stated on the summons, they will not mail out another summons; they'll send out the cops.

Go to the court website and search under jury duty.  You may be able to postpone it.

You may be subject to arrest.  Do not fail to send it in.,

You get another summons for contempt of court or failure to report. If you ignore that one then you may be subject to arrest and fines.
